Dear Diary,
today Eric invented a new language, Svenglish! This is another language I can't understand. I've also been on a 4 hour tour of Dublin, which was quite cool, but it was freezing cold. For lunch we went to a nice shopping center, where I got a very "cheap" lunch. The prices here are unbelievable, yesterday we drank a pint for 7 Euro!!! After the lunch we went to the "Guiness Storehouse", this was interesting as well. They have a very nice bar at the 7th floor, with a 360° view over Dublin, unfortunately it was very foggy today, so that we couldn't see a lot, hence we just drank our beer before we were kicked out. That was actually the first time ever, that I was kicked out of a bar...
It is very sad that this is the last day in Dublin, because I like the city, well at least most of it. But lucky me, I will be here again in six weeks.
So far no decision is made about what we should do tonight. I would fancy some Indian food or pasta, but dunno what the others want for dinner. Rickard has the idea to reserve a table at McDonalds. In my eyes this not really a good idea or even possible. Thereafter we want to go to a bar/pub called "O'Shea's", where they will play some live Irish music. That sounds like a fun idea to do. I have to say that most Bars here are very nice, especially in Temple Bar.
Yesterday we have been to a Pub there, which was called "The Temple Bar". This was a very fun night out, even though they weren't selling their own brand. Beforehand we've been to the "International Comedy Club", that was comparable to the "Quatsch Comedy Club". The comedians have been very funny, as well as the MC. However, before the night started we've spend a lovely day in and around Killiney, which is a very nice beach area south of Dublin, whichever has a touch of Mediterranean style.
Hopefully this night is going to be as fun as the last one, so this will be an complementary event for this epic trip!
